About Brainsquat

Squats for your brain. Brainsquat is a free brain workout that runs in your phone’s browser. It takes about three minutes a day: a few short games, a personal record to beat and a streak to keep.

Why Brainsquat exists

The Industrial Revolution moved hard work to machines, and people started going to the gym to keep their bodies strong. Today we hand more and more of our thinking to AI. That’s useful. It also makes a small daily habit of using your own head worth having.

Brainsquat is that habit, set up like a gym:

  • Short sets. Each game takes about a minute, so a workout fits into a commute, a coffee break or the minutes before sleep.
  • Reps you can count. Every game records your score, so you can see your personal best and whether today beat yesterday.
  • A streak to protect. Show up tomorrow and the streak grows. It’s the same reason people keep going back to the gym.

What’s inside

  • A daily workout of short games for reaction speed, memory, attention and mental math. The Korean, Japanese and Chinese versions add an English vocabulary game.
  • Several games are adapted from classic psychology tasks, such as the Stroop task and the n-back task.
  • Left≠Right, our signature two-thumb game, where each thumb follows a different rule.
  • Brain Check: five short tests, one per area, to record where you are in each area and retake once a month.
  • Personal records, streaks and result cards you can share with friends.
  • Five languages: English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Our promises

  • Play first. There’s no signup, so you can start your first game right away.
  • Your records stay with you. Records are stored in your browser on your device, not on our servers. See the privacy policy.
