Brainsquat Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Brainsquat (brainsquat.pages.dev). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Brainsquat.

1. Who provides Brainsquat

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the person who runs Brainsquat. Contact: studiojinnox@gmail.com.

2. The service

• Brainsquat is a free set of short games you play in your phone’s browser, with personal records, streaks and a daily workout. You don’t need an account.
• We provide it as is and as available. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free or suited to a particular purpose.
• We may add, change or remove games and features. We will try to give notice of major changes on the site.
• Ads may appear on Brainsquat’s screens.

3. Not medical advice

Brainsquat is for entertainment and a daily routine. It is not a medical device or a medical service, and nothing on the site is medical advice.

• Brainsquat does not diagnose, prevent or treat any disease or condition.
• Brain Check and every other score measure how you did at our games on your device. They are not medical, diagnostic or IQ tests.
• Scores depend on your device. Phones add touch and screen delay, so compare yourself with your own past scores.
• If you are worried about your memory, attention or health, please talk to a doctor.

4. Your records

Your records are stored in your browser on your device, not on our servers. You can lose them if you clear your browser data or switch devices, or if the browser removes site data on its own (Safari may do this after 7 days without a visit). Use the backup code on the Your records page to keep a copy. Because we never hold your records, we can’t restore them for you. How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy.

5. Fair use

Please don’t:

• attack, overload or disrupt the site, or try to access parts of it you’re not meant to
• copy the site, its games, text or images and present them as your own
• use Brainsquat in a way that breaks the law or harms others

6. Content and ownership

The games, text, images and code of Brainsquat belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. The English vocabulary lists are based on the New General Service List (Browne, Culligan & Phillips), used under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. You’re welcome to share your result cards and links to Brainsquat.

7. Minors

If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use Brainsquat with the consent of a parent or guardian as your local law requires.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, for the loss of records stored on your device, or for problems caused by services we don’t control, such as your browser, your network or Google. This does not limit our liability for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, or any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

9. Changes to these terms and ending the service

• We post any change to these terms on this page with a new date, at least 7 days before it takes effect (30 days if the change is to your disadvantage).
• If we ever shut Brainsquat down, we will announce it on the site at least 30 days in advance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts under Korean civil procedure law. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protections that the law of your country of residence gives you and that can’t be waived by contract.
